In order to fully explore the design and function of our equipment, Novatec employs Solidworks design software. This software can produce 3D models of equipment and components that allow our customers to see the design from every angle, strip away the outside walls and see the interal functionality of the equipment as well as allow an animated view. This virtual prototype allows our engineers to evaluate mechanical and structural design elements by applying stress, thermal, kinematics, computational fluid dynamics and weldment analysis testing. Once the model is approved and ready for production, this software can automatically generate a final 3D database, 2D production drawings and assembly instructions for manufacturer reference.
